Bus Company Accountant Stole £90k

The Harrogate Advertiser reports that a former finance chief at a leading bus company defrauded the firm out of almost £90,000 and spent the money on designer and luxury goods.

Mark Suter was rated as a top-grade accountant and trustworthy employee at Transdev Blazefield, but, over a five-year period, falsified invoices and cheques, costing the company thousands of pounds.

Suter spent his ill-gotten gains on Argos gift vouchers, a £4,800 Rolex watch, Apple products and car tyres that he claimed were a “legitimate business expense”.
