Chef Turned Burglar To Steal £7k

According to the Derby Telegraph website, a former chef at a well-known, multi award-winning, pub in Derby city centre broke into it and stole more than £7,000.

Alex Haslam broke into the Exeter Arms, made his way to an office where he knew cash was kept and took it, along with his former workmates’ tip money.

The owner of the pub said, “I really feel for the staff members, as they regarded him as a friend as well as a colleague.”
