Thief Stole To Get Drug Treatment
According to the Grimsby Live website, a shoplifter with more than 150 convictions deliberately got caught again in a bid to jump a seven-month queue for drug treatment.

Joan Whitrick, who stole the money from Just Desserts in Shipley, had been told by a judge in January that the cash would have to be paid back, “even if it takes you the rest of your days to do it”.
