As reported on the Basingstoke Gazette website, three men have been jailed after stealing more than £30,000 worth of goods from stores across the UK.

Simon Corcoran, Stephen Ward and Conor Ward targeted stores across 15 counties, focusing mainly on health and beauty products.

As reported on the International Business Times website, UK borders have intercepted counterfeit goods worth over £500 million, mainly from China, Hong Kong, and Turkey.

According to he Pharmacy Magazine website, a “prolific shoplifter” has been banned from entering any branch of the Boots chain in England and Wales.

Michael Hayes was convicted of stealing around £4,000-worth of beauty products from a Boots branch in the City of London.

The BBC News website reports that a transport boss used his company credit card to pay for holidays, garden furniture and music records in a £100,000 fraud.

Sean Forster fraudulently used his corporate credit card for five years in a “culture” of executives using company cards for personal use.

McDonald’s Worker Stole £4k

The Ludlow Advertiser website reports that a McDonald’s worker who stole thousands from his employer has been ordered to pay it back.

Stephen James had stolen thousands of pounds in cash from McDonald’s in Newport, Shropshire, between June 9 and July 4, 2022.
