The Northern Echo website reports that a finance officer transferred nearly £27,000 of clients’ payments into her own bank account over a 13-month period.
Making 62 fraudulent transactions, Gillian Burke then removed evidence of the payments from the company’s computer system.read more

The Wales Online website reports that a Parcelforce driver stole 244 items in three months, selling them on eBay and netting him over £14,000.
Michal Biernacki stole mostly high-value electrical, cosmetic and designer clothing products, worth more than £31,000.read more
Thief Took Foil-lined Suitcase Into Store
The Stoke-On-Trent Live website reports that a man stuffed a foil-lined suitcase with clothes in a branch of Sports Direct and tried to leave without paying.
