As reported on the York Press website, a cleaning company manager defrauded his company of nearly £10,000 in a scam centred around casual staffing.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post website, a ‘greedy’ manager stole around £90,000 from the bed company where he worked to fund a lifestyle beyond his means.

According to the Birmingham Live website, a shoplifting suspect was arrested by a vigilant off-duty Worcestershire police officer, showing they are never off duty.

Fake Perfume Seized From Street Trader
The Ipswich Star website reports that counterfeit perfume was seized from an opportunistic street trader in Ipswich, prompting police to warn shoppers about fake goods.
Officers spotted the trader selling the fragrances – which included fakes of brands such as Ralph Lauren – from a bag in the town centre.read more

The Mirror website reports that Chinese crime gangs are behind a fake Aussie wine scam in the UK, according to experts.
Phoney versions of the Yellow Tail brand – including Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio – have been found in shops across the country.read more
