Accenture Employee’s £28k Expenses Fraud

According to the Chronicle Live website, a trusted worker pocketed more than £28,000 by fraudulently claiming expenses from his employer, technology firm Accenture.

In just nine months, Paul Fitch submitted false receipts to claim expenses from his bosses, before an internal investigation uncovered his thefts.

Thief In Blatant Stealing Spree

As reported on the Liverpool Echo website, a prolific thief brazenly breached a court order by stealing nearly £300 of items in a two-day spree.

A court heard that Colin Poole blatantly stole large quantities of chocolate and meat from stores in full view of staff and customers.

According to the Lincolnshire Live website, a worker at Lincoln County Hospital stole items from his employer worth thousands of pounds to sell on eBay.

John O’Keefe stole a cardiac heart rhythm monitor, a medical gas alarm, tools, and items such as locks which he sold using the name “Trusted Trader 77″.

Chef Turned Burglar To Steal £7k

According to the Derby Telegraph website, a former chef at a well-known, multi award-winning, pub in Derby city centre broke into it and stole more than £7,000.

Alex Haslam broke into the Exeter Arms, made his way to an office where he knew cash was kept and took it, along with his former workmates’ tip money.
