The Birmingham Live website reports that a Romanian shoplifting gang travelled up and down the country to steal £4,000 worth of perfume from shops in an organised operation.

A court was told that the gang visited busy shopping venues where they blatantly stole large quantities of expensive scent from large stores.

The Scottish Sun reports that a maintenance manager stole TVs, lights and computer equipment from the hotel where he worked, and then sold them on eBay.

According to the Eastern Daily Press website, a gambling addict took more than £220,000 from Norwich’s Catholic Cathedral while volunteering as its treasurer.

Rene Mugenzi siphoned off the cash from the bank account at St John the Baptist Cathedral and into his own between March 2016 and May 2018.
