The Telegraph and Argus website reports that a woman who was jailed for stealing from her employer has been ordered to pay more than £600,000 in compensation.

Ilyiea Ali was jailed in 2018 for stealing £610,144 from her former employer – ISF Ltd – and gave half to a romance fraudster.

Pilot Lied To Bag BA Job

According to the Metro website, a pilot has been charged with fraud after allegedly lying about his flight experience and qualifications to get a job with British Airways.

Craig Butfoy is accused of giving false details on his CV, including that he had held a private pilot’s licence since 1998, and fabricating documents, including a training course certificate.

According to the South Wales Argus website, a housing association boss swindled his employer out of £75,000 by buying computer equipment before selling it from his personal eBay account.

Craig Williams even used his organisation’s credit card to buy back some of the stock he had stolen while advertising it for sale online.

According to the Southern Daily Echo website, a trainee accountant has been jailed for 28 months after stealing £124,000 from his employer to fund his gambling habit.

Wing Chan abused his position of trust so much, that a company director had to use £75k of his own money to save the business.
