Fine For Graduate Who ‘Attended’ Yale

The Tab website reports that a law graduate who claimed he ‘attended’ Yale University on his CV has been handed a £2,000 fine by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Lee Hull’s CV had a number of misleading sections when he applied for a legal advisor role at law firm Clarkes Legal.

He also claimed he had been “called to the bar” – the legal term for being a qualified barrister – but in fact had only completed a bar vocational course.

Hull will no longer be employable as a solicitor or able to have a connection with any practice.
