Security Guard ‘Driven Off In Boot’
Saturday, 10th October 2015 at 9:52amThe Gloucester Citizen reports that a serial shoplifter reversed into a Sainsbury’s security guard and drove off with the frightened man trapped in the boot.
Andrew Prior, a security officer at the store, tried to stop Penny Morgan leaving with £312-worth of unpaid groceries but she reversed into him, forcing him to jump into the boot.
“She then drove forwards out of the car park and onto a main road with Mr Prior still in the boot,” said the prosecuting barrister in the court case.
