Asda Bans Schoolchildren From StoreSaturday, 8th December 2018 at 3:15pm
Metro reports that a branch of Asda in Leek, Staffordshire, has banned three years of pupils from a local secondary school from the store, after a spate of shoplifting by a small number of its students.
Pupils in years 9, 10 and 11 at Leek High School will be affected by the ban.
An Asda spokesman said: “We work hard to be part of our local community and our colleagues and customers deserve to feel safe and comfortable when they visit us. We’ve had to implement this short-term ban as a last resort.”
