Book Shop Cashier Stole £11,000
Monday, 13th May 2019 at 9:49amAccording to the Chronicle Live website, a cashier stole more than £11,000 from Waterstone’s using the book store’s own loyalty cards.
Barry McCann swindled cash from his employer using cards which gave customers £10 off their purchase if they collected 10 stamps on a paper card.

This scam became common practice across the national chain, which has now scrapped its ‘stamp and save’ card for a more secure system.
