Brum Council Worker Stole £900k

The Birmingham Live website reports that an employee of Birmingham City Council’s Highways department stole over £900,000 in a planned and sophisticated fraud.

Tyler Evans dealt with refunds of deposits paid to contractors once works had been completed and it was discovered he had made 35 false claims over a three-year period.

To avoid detection, Evans fled to the United States to start a new life working in the paranormal industry as a tour guide.
