Community Support Officer Faked Job CV

The Birmingham Mail reports that a police community support officer was sacked after admitting to faking her job application CV.

Samantha Skinner changed her NVQ qualification to a higher grade – from level 1 to level 3 – whilst applying to join the regular police force.

Chief Inspector Kevin Doyle, from West Midlands Police was quoted as saying, “Ms Skinner dishonestly claimed to have a qualification that she did not possess. Her behaviour fell short of the standards we expect from potential recruits and this was especially disappointing given she was already part of our organisation.”
