Council Worker Stole £8.5k

The Spalding Voice website reports that a District Council employee spent £8,470 on company cards after her mental health deteriorated due to her workload.

During a financial investigation, Beverley Paskell’s spending had been traced over a two-year period.

A court heard how Paskell’s mental health declined during the COVID period and after staff lay-offs, four jobs were rolled into her one position.
