Covert Operation Catches Teen Shoplifters

As reported in the News & Star, Carlisle police caught people as young as 15 shoplifting in the city during a recent covert operation.

Officers in plain clothes joined constables, PCSOs, retail security staff and CCTV operators for a special operation, during which seven shoplifters were detained.

The age of the shoplifters caught ranged between 15- and 40-years-old and a “considerable amount of goods” were recovered.
