Croupier Stuffed £50 Notes Into Sock

According to the Evening Standard, the daughter of a retired British Army general was caught stuffing £50 notes into her sock whilst working as a casino croupier.

Sarah Clarke used sleight of hand to grab the cash while counting up at the end of her shift at the Sportsman Casino in Marylebone.

A court heard that Clarke, “appeared to separate a mixture of notes, holding some with her index finger, and then she was seen to pass the notes from the right hand to her left hand”, hiding the notes between her fingers then stashing the cash in a sock she was wearing.
