CV Cheat’s Confiscation Order Reversed

The Chard and Ilminster News website reports that the man who cheated his way into the top job at a Taunton charity won’t now have to repay any of the money he earned whilst in the post.

A court has decided that Jon Andrewes – a builder who falsified his CV to land a £75,000-a-year job at St Margaret’s Hospice – gave “full value” for the money he received.

Andrewes lied about his qualifications to secure the post with the before later submitting further false CVs to con his way into top roles within the NHS and other charities.
