Dental Nurse’s £60,000 Fraud

As reported on the Wales Online website, a dental nurse used fake patient names to defraud her employer of more than £60,000.

Jennifer Locke used ‘sophisticated’ methods at BUPA surgeries where she worked as a practice manager, and made almost 100 false refund transactions directly into her own bank account.

Locke – who has received a two-year suspended jail sentence – has been struck off by the General Dental Council.
