Dispenser Stole 3,000 Sleeping Pills

According to the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website, a pharmacist dispenser stole thousands of sleeping tablets from his employer over a three-month period.

Khurram Abbas was found to have placed orders for 110 boxes (3,080 tablets) of temazepam – a form of sleeping tablet and class C prescription-only drug.

Abbas initially claimed it was simply a mistake, but after further evidence was put to him, he admitted ordering and stealing the drug.
