Dunelm Manager Stole £170k

The Mail Online website reports a £25,000-a-year finance manager stole from his employer – furniture company Dunelm – to fund his ‘out of control’ gambling habit.

But Tom Eaton was treated like a VIP by the betting company Betsafe and was gifted cash bonuses, Premier League tickets and a night in a four-star hotel.

Eaton pleaded guilty to taking £170,000, forging an account book, submitting 20 bogus expenses claims and fraudulently obtaining three company credit cards.
