Finance Worker Stole To Fund Lavish Lifestyle

BBC News reports that a finance worker stole more than £130,000 from her employer to fund her “lavish lifestyle”.

Claire Johnston – jailed for 20 months – used the proceeds of her crimes to pay for her wedding, luxury holidays, weekends away and designer footwear from Valentino and Louboutin.

Since her arrest, Johnston has been diagnosed with a psychological condition known as ‘compulsive buying disorder’.
