Flip Flop Shop Manager Jailed

The Kent Online website reports that a flip flop shop manager who was ‘desperate to leave his job’ stole £12,000 before vanishing.

Jonathan Kirby repeatedly targeted the Havaianas store for two months, then took leave, claiming he had contracted the coronavirus.

After going AWOL, the firm took stock of its takings and discovered that £12,200 had not been banked or placed in the store’s safe.
