Fraudster Lied On CV To Bag £120k Job

As reported in The Sun, a fraudster who lied on his CV to land a £120,000-a-year job as an oil executive has been jailed.

David Scott said he had three degrees and had written an academic paper making him one of the top engineering brains, but, in fact, he had no degree and the paper was penned by an American professor with the same name.

In court, Judge Peter Armstrong said, “This was not just claiming an extra GCSE or A level. This was fraud at the highest end of CV falsehood.”
