Footballer Accused Of £500k Theft

According to BBC News, a former Gaelic footballer has been accused of stealing over £500,000 from his employer.

Johnny McGurk, now an accountant, was charged with stealing £572,206 from quarry owner Patrick Bradley Ltd, based in Kilrea, County Londonderry.

He was also accused of 36 counts of fraud relating to sums of allegedly stolen money lodged in his bank account.
