GCSE Faker Misspelt Own Name

According to the Portsmouth News website, a Royal Navy sailor faked GCSE certificates, but was caught out because he spelt his own name wrong.

Leading Seaman Ian O’Mahoney claimed he received B and C grades in his English GCSE exams and forged two AQA exam board certificates.

But during the forgery, he stupidly misspelt his own name as ‘O’Omhoney’.
