GP Manager Stole £600k
Monday, 15th July 2019 at 12:34pmAccording to Yahoo! News, a former doctor’s practice manager has been jailed after defrauding the surgery she worked for of almost £600,000.
Carolyn Lightwing transferred £596,000 into personal bank accounts she had set up while falsely claiming to be a supplier to the surgery.
She covered her tracks by taking money from one year’s accounts to balance the previous year’s.
