Great Gran Stole Out Of Boredom
Monday, 9th January 2017 at 10:57amAccording to The Sun, a 79-year-old great grandmother began a five-year shoplifting spree – because she was bored.
June Humphreys has clocked up her 39th theft offence, after starting to steal in her seventies to get out of her home in Crewe, travelling on her free bus pass to swipe hundreds of pounds of goods.
Her probation officer told a court that, “She knows what she is doing is wrong, she says she is bored and needs to fill her time.”
