Hotel Manager Stole £24k For Sex

As reported on the Wales Online website, a former policeman and “sex pest” stole tens of thousands of pounds from hotels to pay for cocaine and his addiction to sex workers and escorts.

Whilst James Hughes was being investigated about stealing £24,000 from a Welsh boutique hotel, he got another job at a London hotel and helped himself to £40,000 from the till.

After his probation period ended, Hughes devised a scheme where he could take payments from customers and put the money into his own accounts while deleting the relevant room booking or other transaction from the system.
