Housekeeper Sold Medical Supplies On eBay

As reported in the Bristol Post, a hospital housekeeper sold stolen medical supplies online to help fund treatment for his autistic son.

Maciej Rodziewicz was rumbled when an eBay customer bought nicotine patches that were marked ‘Property of Bristol Royal Infirmary’.

A judge told Rodziewicz: “You stole stock worth £5,000, over three to four months, and sold it on eBay. Your job was to look after stock. You were trusted by the hospital to do so,” and added, “those who steal can cause problems far beyond the value of the items taken.”
