Jeweller Stole £26k From Uncle’s Firm

The Wales Online website reports that a jeweller defrauded her uncle’s business out of money, precious metal and gems worth more than £26,000, selling items on eBay.

Sian McLean was employed at her uncle’s for four years and her role included opening and closing the shop, serving customers and buying and selling jewellery.

As a result of her crimes, her uncle was left feeling betrayed by his niece and unable to retire from the business for another ten years.
