Lawyer Lied About Getting 2:1 Degree

Metro reported that a lawyer has been suspended from her job for 18 months after lying about getting a 2:1 at university.

Anna Goodwin actually got a 2:2 in her law degree at University of the West of England in 2006, but fudged the grade in her application to the British Armed Forces for a ‘legal advisor’ role.

When the job ad stated that applicants were ‘normally’ expected to have a 2:1 or above, Anna ‘edited’ her CV accordingly but she was caught out when Army Legal Services asked her for her original certificate as part of their preliminary checks.
