Letting Agent Stole £16k Of DepositsTuesday, 10th January 2017 at 10:25pm
As reported in East Anglian Daily Times, an employee of a Savills letting agency swindled her employer out of around £16,000, taking cash received as tenants’ deposits.
Julie Feilden, a lettings administrator, was made redundant from the Newmarket branch in 2015, but despite this, she asked if she could take the books home to get them up-to-date.
The offences date from March 2010 to September 2015 and Feilden stole various amounts during that time. ranging from £450 to £3,012.
