Microscope Needed to Spot Counterfeits
Monday, 14th February 2022 at 7:35pmAccording to Mail Online, a Chinese-run website is selling counterfeit designer goods so close to the real thing that only a microscope could reveal they were fakes.
High-quality copies of clothes, bags and shoes from luxury labels including Chanel and Hermes are being sold for less than one per cent of the genuine products’ retail prices.
As part of an investigation, The Mail on Sunday bought four items for less than £160 that, if purchased from legitimate retailers, would cost almost £27,000.
