Mum Jailed For £1,200 Shoplifting Spree
Monday, 16th March 2015 at 8:43pmThe Oxford Times reports that a mother who went on a £1,200 shoplifting spree with three other women has been jailed for three months.
Charlotte Connors, 21, was already serving a suspended sentence for a proceeds of crime offence.
Jonathan Sank, prosecuting, told Oxford Crown Court that Connors was involved in four thefts on the same day.
Judge Patrick Eccles said: “There is a public interest that where suspended sentences are made, they are implemented. ”
