NHS Fraudster To Pay Back Cash

According to the Ely Standard website, a fraudster who swindled almost £350,000 out of the NHS has been ordered to pay back the majority of his ill-gotten gains.

Phillip Hufton was ordered under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) to pay back a total sum of £294,747 or face another three years in prison.

Hutton was jailed for five years in 2018 for defrauding the NHS to help him fund his lavish lifestyle.
