Post Office Manager Stole £30k

The Bristol Live website reports that a manager of a Post Office in a local convenience store stole nearly £30,000 in takings from her employer.

Anita Rudge stole £29,849.81 when working in the McColl’s branch, after struggling financially and gambling online.

In court, a judge told Rudge that her actions and the branch’s lost money could “jeopardise the community service a small shop provides.”
