Rogue Surgeon Lied About Surgical Experience
Wednesday, 7th February 2018 at 9:06amBirmingham Live reports that a rogue surgeon who lied to land a £100,000 per year job has been jailed for six years.
Sudip Sarker fabricated his surgical experience to land the consultant role at Alexandra Hospital in Redditch – an appointment that led to many disastrous operations.
The court heard that Sarker had left a ‘trail of devastation’ in the ‘employment he should never have had’, which in turn had led to 19 claims from victims of his botched operations.
