Shop Worker Stole Perfume Worth £15k

According to Chronicle Live, a John Lewis worker stole thousands of pound worth of fragrances and then sold them on her eBay account.

Sophie Easten helped herself to expensive aftershaves and perfumes worth a total of £14,428 over an 11-month period and was only caught when bosses installed CCTV in the stock room.

Managers at the John Lewis store in Newcastle noticed they were making significant losses on Creed aftershave and decided to take them off display and keep them in a stock room, which could only be accessed by staff.
