Shoplifter Committed 175 Offences
Friday, 20th February 2015 at 12:32pmA prolific shoplifter has been sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to the theft of more than £800 of items – his latest in a string of over 175 offences.
According to Mansfield and Ashfield Chad, Howard Lawrence, 56, was sentenced to 60 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of shoplifting from River Island, JD Sports and Holland & Barrett’s.
Sergeant Colin Kirkup, from Nottinghamshire Police said: “Howard Lawrence has a horrendous history of offending, amounting to almost 80 convictions taking in 175 offences nationwide…”
