Granny Stole Waitrose Steaks
Saturday, 30th April 2016 at 9:51pmThe Gazette & Herald reports that a 66-year-old great-grandmother stole steaks worth £60 from a branch of Waitrose in Chippenham.
Marlene Cousins – who stole the steak and then sold it on for cash, to cover a debt – then returned to the same store the next day and pinched a sandwich and some mayonnaise.
Magistrates have issued her with an eight-month community order.
