Stolen Pirelli Tyres Sold On eBay

As reported by Cumbria Crack, a man has been sentenced for his part in the theft of Pirelli tyres valued at £102,000.

Mark Claxton was in dire financial straits when he stole high value tyres while working at a distribution depot next to Pirelli’s Carlisle site.

Over many months, he took surplus stock which was not officially recorded and was paid £40 per tyre by wagon driver Graham Wait, who transported them to Scotland. They were then sold on eBay.
