Thief Stole Metal Worth £10k

According to the Telegraph & Argus website, an engineering worker stole metal worth up to £10,000 from his boss to pay off a drug debt.

Damien Tedesco made ten trips to a scrap metal dealer with property stolen from Craig Engineering, where he had been given training and support as an apprentice.

Whilst the value of the stolen metal was up to £10,000, Tedesco was only paid £1,800.
