Thieves Hid Loot In Underwear
Thursday, 12th December 2019 at 10:03amThe York Press website reports that a four member shoplifting gang had expandable knickers to hold their stolen wares and avoid anti-theft devices.
One member of the gang, currently on the run – Anne-Marie Raducanu – hid so many clothes in her underwear, police initially thought she was pregnant.
Three other gang members have been jailed for their part in a large-scale raid on York Designer Outlet shops – which a judge said has become an “important magnet” for thieves.
