Worker Sold Stolen Clothes On Black Market
Tuesday, 17th October 2017 at 8:52pmAccording to The Sun, a department store worker stole £3,000 worth of designer clothes and sold them on the black market to fund his drug habit.
Jake Coxon was caught after suspicious managers installed spy cameras in the stockroom of the Manchester branch of Selfridges.
Over a two-week period they filmed wine salesman Coxon stuffing t-shirts, gilets and jackets down his trousers before taking them to his counter where he removed the security tags.
An internal investigation began in October 2016 when it became clear stock was going missing and after senior staff noticed some of the items were put on eBay.
