Worker Stole Scaffolding
Friday, 31st March 2023 at 8:03pmThe Hull Live website reports that a worker secretly sold scaffolding poles belonging to his employer because he needed to raise some much-needed cash.
Mark Dales was originally said to have helped himself to scaffolding worth £215,000 but in court he insisted that the actual value of the haul was just £7,000.
He altered the level of stock recorded and hid what he had stolen before selling it to a third party who believed that Dales had the authority of the company to sell it.
