YouTube Hosts ‘Shoplifting Guide’
Monday, 30th April 2018 at 11:54pmAccording to The Sun, YouTube is hosting videos that teach people how to bypass high street store security alarms and remove security tags.
One shoplifting video, viewed 202,125 times, showed how to line a bag with foil and clingfilm to that security tags did not trigger alarms. It stated: “This is very effective. Now you can go and steal as much as you can.”
In February, Joseph Burwood targeted four stores at Clarks Village in Street, Somerset, after watching a video tutorial on YouTube.
