43-Year-Old Thief Stole Pokémon Cards

The Derbyshire Live website reports that a middle-aged man stole £129 of Pokémon products from his local branch of Tesco.

A court heard that Craig Brooks entered the supermarket in Long Eaton and left having failed to pay for the popular collectable cards.

Brewery Worker Stole Over £400k

The Morning Advertiser website reports that an accounts worker stole over £400,000 from her employer, where she had worked for more 40 years.

Lesley Freestone, who worked at the Cornwall-based St. Austell brewery, duplicated invoices and processed payments into her own account over a period of nine years.

Thief Banned From Every Sainsbury’s

The Coventry Live website reports that a thief who stole alcohol on three occasions from the same store in Warwick has been banned from every Sainsbury’s in the UK.

Kelly Toolan is not allowed to enter any Sainsbury’s store in the UK until April 2022 after a shoplifting spree this year which netted her £350-worth of booze.

Gas Man Stole To Pay For Holiday

As reported on the Leeds Live website, a British Gas worker defrauded his employer out of £11,000 to pay for his friends to go on holiday.

Tony Clamp’s fraud was discovered after a manager noticed multiple refunds had been sent to accounts linked to his grandmother.
