Team Leader Stole Nearly £25k

According to the Lincolnshire World website, a transport planning team leader stole more that £24,000 from his employer, but has been spared a jail term.

Tim Goodliff – given a 16-month sentence, suspended for two years – pleaded guilty of a charge of theft by an employee over a 12-month period.

A court heard how Goodliff’s theft had caused a high level of inconvenience to the business, impacting its profits, and had left its owner feeling ‘let down’.
